Vote for your favorite designs by local architects! The American Institute of Architects of Southwestern Oregon (AIA-SWO), in collaboration with the American Society of Landscape Architects, Willamette Valley Section of the Oregon Chapter (AS LA), is proud to present the 24rd Annual People's Choice Awards showcasing the work of your local architects and landscape architects. The intent of these awards is to educate and inspire our community by showcasing design excellence in landscape, interiors and architecture projects created within the Southwestern Oregon Chapter area or by chapter members. The program demonstrates to the public the role of the architectural profession in enhancing the built environment.
The public is asked to vote for their favorite designs in several categories during the Eugene Celebration. The votes will be counted and winners recognized at the September AIA-SWO Chapter Meeting and at a City Club of Eugene meeting on September 13. This year, in additional to the traditional categories of Interiors and Residential, Commercial, Public/Institutional buildings and landscapes, the AIA is introducing new groups in which to display architecture: Research, Master Planning, and a digital Student/Emerging Professional category.
